The Years Are Short

I thought of the challenge

to balance,

to stay afloat

to overlook the dust bunnies

to make do.

I thought of those tired

from a busy weekend

frustrated, overwhelmed

with life's burdens, choices, 

I thought of the joy

this week might bring.
