Lots of people "give up" during the Lenten season hoping to serve by making a sacrifice. I've tried but in recent years I've turned towards looking for ways to give service to others. It's harder to do, and I suspect giving up vino for Lent might just be easier than thinking of HOW my life can incorporate more kindness and service.As Aesop said:
