It's about Easter Sunday
At the service,
Messages about the power of love,
Great acts of kindness,
Reflections on sacrifice,
Reminders to give generously,
Accept graciously
Live peacefully.
At my house,
Love adorned the table,
Acts of kindness occurred again and again,

Sacrifices were made for others,
We gathered, opened our hearts,
Filled our tanks,
Then, packed up,
Drove home,
Renewed in the spirit of the holiday,
Some of us, exhausted!
