During a normal SOL season, I notice "life" more closely.
This year, it's juxtaposition I see!
Bright forsythia in early bloom amid a cold spring snow-rain.
Happy daffodils and tulips amid worry and angst.
Houses of worship closed, amid prayers.
Hoping to get back to work amid
Those who yearned for days off.
Nurses, doctors, grocers,
Garbage collectors, police, EMS,
Garbage collectors, police, EMS,
Exhausted heroes,
Teachers, educators,
Emerging respect and appreciation!

Your taking note of juxtaposition is another way of noticing. I like these lines:
"Happy daffodils and tulips amid worry and angst.
Houses of worship closed, amid prayers."
Here's to hope in the face of anxiety.
Anita,
Beautiful post of juxtaposition. I want to start noticing this too. I'm sure we will continue to see more and more. Yes, who wouldn't have longed for a one or two day holiday from the busy chaos? We want and need time to recoup, but by now we would want to get back to work. We have a lot to learn going forward how to handle all the anxiety with hope.
