Why did I agree to teach the last

Eating has eclipsed exercise?
Why do I still have
Unwrapped gifts,
Unbaked cookies?
It's all part of holiday

For the first time in ages, my gifts are all wrapped. It helps that we kept it super low-key this year and that I have a full two weeks off of school! I hope you can let go of the cleaning and enjoy all the magic!
I think I might have found my Slice here with your thoughts about holiday demands. Enjoy the days ahead and the one right now that brought us the gift of your poem.
Maybe by the end of TOMORROW, I’ll be where I need to be… Still have a couple presents to wrap and two types of cookies to make. It will get done. I think. You just reminded me I need to wrap a present before my husband gets home. Off I go!
I agree, there is so much magic in the season, no matter what we do or don't do. I would have to add to your poem, lamenting my failure to send Christmas cards to family and friends . . . again. So early Christmas morning, I'll send greetings and love via phone calls and text messages. And I'm celebrating that my trees are decorated and my cookies are baked. Now to wrap presents!
