Best Gifts: Freebies

                                                           The Best Gifts: Freebies

Hope, for the moment, days ahead,
Friends, to share interests, joys, sorrows,
Children*, a glimpse into the future,
Work, important, meaningful, giving definition to days,
Time, with those we love, enjoy, respect,
Charity, better to give than to receive,
Walks, on beaches, through woods, down the roads of our lives,
Long lives, opportunities for perspective,
Reflection, opportunities for perspective,
Respect, for diversity, differences,
Smiles, hope for those who see you,
Love, another who loves you as much as you love them,
Faith, to empower us in the days ahead.

*Children are not free;  however, they are priceless!

Those ol' Master Card Ads were right on the money* pun intended!

I loved so many of the lines...but this was the standout for me

Walks, on beaches, through woods, down the roads of our lives,

Yep, sometimes they are bumpy, but I just love the road! xo

Priceless is definitely a great way to describe a child! It breaks my heart when adults who are supposed to be parents don't see this...like Nanc, I love the walks...sometimes short, long, windy or straight and always full of adventure!

What a beautiful reminder of the best things in life! The lines about "walks" and "smiles, hope for those who see you" were my favorites. Thanks for sharing this!

Teachers love freebies. Your perspective is a refreshing reminder of the wealth we have. My favorite: Smiles, hope for those who see you. MaryHelen
