II usually watch the Super Bowl, if I even watch it, for the commercials, but yesterday the NYT imes published them in their online edition, so I did not need to watch at all. Yet, I watched in order to see the half-time show! I had missed the wardrobe fail a few years ago and so I wanted to be on top of the news this time. I am very glad I watched! While there was a bit that pushed my own comfort level (I also find bits of MOST music videos outside my own comfort zone) you do not need to be fluent in Spanish to appreciate the music. The performance really did pay homage to the melting pot we are all lucky enough to call America.
