I was recovering from Theo of Golden and too exhausted to start a new book when Netflix offered The Wedding Singer, nearly 30 years old, new to me. I can fall hard for a sappy love story in this chapter of being alone, and I "hung onto" the words as reminders to hold onto those you love. My Nonet has the chorus at its heart.

I also just finished Theo of Golden (on the heels of The Correspondent and The River is Waiting—it’s amazing I haven’t fallen into a permanent state of despair). The Wedding Singer is such a fun, joyful little movie! I love a good “palate cleansing” story!
Theo of Golden is my new favorite book. Looking forward to the follow up Ellen of Golden!

I loved Theo of Golden too and after a good book it's always hard for me to start a new one. Watching an old romantic movie is always a good distraction from life.
I am not familiar with this book, but after checking it out on line I think it is something my wife would enjoy. arjeha
