Somedays, there are 30,
Other days more,
Clad in faded swimsuits,
No intention to swim,
Whitney begins to scream,
The Weather Girls claim
"It's Raining Men,"
Bodies sway, kick, jump.
Aches, pains dissolve.
Aqua-cize, intervals, kickboxing,
Aqua-aerobics, bootcamp, zumba.
Semi-retired, yet working hard,
Replacement parts, learning the moves.
Stemming the tide of aging,
Water Babes AND
Water Dudes, too

Love your poem. I've done Water Aerobics times in the past. These days it's Silver Sneakers for me and yes, we have Babes and Dudes too!
This is not what I was expecting, but I love it! Great music too!
On another note--do you know if there is a setting on Blogger to keep comments from being anonymous?
Great poem. As I clicked on the title, I was thinking of my grandsons, Water Babies all!!! Thanks for all your images!
I love this poem, but especially this one: Replacement parts, learning the moves. I also love the end: water babes and water dudes. This was a delight to read.
I love being one of many 👯
