In the old poem
March comes & goes,
In like a lamb, out like a lion?
Yet, March is much more,
Changing seasons & times,
Ditching boots & mittens,
Transitioning & becoming,
Writing & reading,
Noticing & reflecting,
Learning & remembering.
I came to March
Hesitant & reluctant
I leave
Grateful for the power of words
And this powerful community.
I am thankful for Stacy,
All the TWT leaders,
This community,
This Slice of Life Challenge

Anita! I love the way this poem is constructed. Your last stanza is perfect. Thank you for all the times you chimed in on my posts. I look forward to reading more of your poetry!
What a fun way to reflect on the challenge! I love all the -ing verbs in your poem. :) Well done for completing the challenge!
Well said! I agree with so much of what you wrote here today. Thank you for sharing!
As said, the last stanza is perfect!
I like how your poem shows us more of March (or the March) than just the bookend lion and lamb. Those are like the front and back covers, and I suppose we all need reminding not to only see the book cover. March, as well as people, have much more to offer if we take the time to look inside. Thanks for that poem and the reminder. Peter (aka humbleswede)
Anita, I love your poem showing we do so much more than write during this month long challenge...so much reflecting. :)
March is so much more than weather and your poem beautifully illustrates that. It is wonderful to belong to this community. arjeha
