I'm back for my 12th year,
Anxious to reconnect,
Excited to "meet" new bloggers,
Writing so I remember, notice,
Clarify, and reflect on life.
I'm an adjunct professor of literacy
Still learning
Beside current and aspiring teachers.
A little bit nervous about this commitment,
A little excited about meeting "old" and
"New" friends on this journey.
I'm also a retired literacy specialist,
An advocate for the power of writing.
A proud Mom, a passionate Meme,
A great Aunt, a Great Aunt,
A fortunate Sister, A lucky Cousin,
An appreciative friend,
And a grateful Survivor.
I'm a "wanna-be"
Aqua-size coach, fitness buff,
Published author, sender of cards,
Regular theater attendee,
Consistent blogger, and world traveler.
I've been told podcasts are the future,
Blogging is "old school."
But, I'm going to take this month
To remember, notice,
Clarify and reflect
During this March Challenge 2023.

What a terrific way to introduce yourself! I especially love the play with your role as an aunt. It is lovely to meet you, all your aspirations, and to know that you are shaping future educators. I am thinking that this might be the most important role EVER! (I'll probably blog about that at some point.)
I love your listy poetic introduction! I wonder sometimes too about blogging being old school. But here we are! :) You left a comment on my blog about how my post spoke to you. Well, it was YOUR comment from several years ago that I reread and which inspired my post. There must be something true about making our thoughts permanent even if it is old school! I look forward to writing with you this month!
This kind of post is always a great way to begin the challenge. It gives readers a chance to get to know you and develop a connection based on similarities. As far as blogging being old school, since I am old I will continue to do it. After all, I don't need to get all dressed up to blog.
I guess I’m old school, because I still love a good blog post! Coming back to the challenge, it’s so nice to read the words of familiar names! I love this way of introducing yourself. I may have to try it tomorrow!
I am old school too. Blogging rocks! Your introduction so beautifully shows how rich your life is in your various roles.
This is a great introduction to a busy life. I look forward to being "back in touch" again, as I have always enjoyed your words.
Love your starting gate reflection. I look forward to writing together. It's my 12th year too!
